- Email address — provided when you start a free trial or purchase a license through Freemius checkout. Used to deliver your license key and send product-related communications.
- License key — generated by Freemius and activated within the app. Used to verify your subscription status.
- Sparkle auto-update metadata — when the app checks for updates, anonymous metadata (such as app version and OS version) may be transmitted to the update server. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Language preference — your chosen display language is saved locally in your browser. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
We do not collect payment card details or banking information. All payment processing is handled directly by Freemius (see Third-Party Service Providers below).
To improve the quality of our website, we use external analytics tools. These tools may collect anonymized information about how visitors use the site (such as pages viewed and interactions). The collected information is processed in accordance with the privacy policy of each tool provider.
3. Purpose of Use
We use your information for the following purposes:
- Delivering your license key and activation instructions
- Responding to support inquiries
- Sending important product announcements (e.g. security notices, major version releases)
- Verifying license status and managing subscriptions via Freemius

- Freemius — acts as the Merchant of Record, handling payment processing and license management. Freemius’ privacy practices are governed by the Freemius Privacy Policy.
- GitHub — used for website hosting and app distribution. GitHub’s practices are governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
5. Data Retention
We retain your email address and associated license records for as long as your subscription is active or as necessary to provide support and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.
7. Your Rights
